New timeshare in Kauai

Kauai Lagoons set for planning commission public hearing.

The next step for leaders of the proposed $500 million Kauai Lagoons project is a public hearing June 28 before the Planning Commission for a review of the developing company's Shore Management Area (SMA) plan, according to Kauai Lagoons Public Relations Director Ron Kouchi.

The project includes 106 affordable homes as well as timeshare units and more.
