Numerous new "timeshare companies" are sending out misleading postcards saying that they
will be in your area soon, making offers on timeshares. Their "offer" is for YOU TO PAY THEM ($3,495 or more),
not the other way around.
When you call the number on the card, an appointment will be set with you to attend
a meeting, usually at a rented conference room at a local hotel.
At the meeting, after they try to convince that the timeshare is worthless, you will find that
what they mean by "offers" is that if YOU PAY THEM $3,495 or more they will take the timeshare from you.
When asked if they resell the timeshares, they say no, but in fact postings on the Internet
indicate that they do sell them, making even more money.
The Departments of Real Estate in several states are investigating such companies. In the meantime don't waste your
time with them, contact us and we will give you a true estimate of resale value.
